I’ve been working with resin for over 25 years and although resins and colours have evolved so much over the year (we didn’t have any colour 25 years ago, only clear) the principles and techniques are still the same. Resin art is to some degree a chemistry process and the resin gods are not too forgiving if you try and wing it.

So why do you this with this course, how is it different to what you see on YouTube?

This course is a little different in that it is filmed in real time with a birds eye view of what I’m teaching exactly as I see it. I have found from teaching over the years that people need to see exactly what I’m doing close up, not from afar.

Filmed and divided into modules that follow the exact stages required for your coasters, along with some module notes that you can refer to before you actually start pouring resin.

Obviously since it’s a digital download, no materials are going to be coming down the internet to you but I do give links to the exact materials that I use and if your over the other side of the world I will point you towards the type of resin you should use. I do however have resin kits available to buy here on the website though these are only available in Ireland & EU.

Well it’s for anyone whose wondered what it’s like to use resin, make something for themselves or maybe to gift the tutorial to someone else. Maybe you’re not new to resin but you’ve been using it in a different style or techniques such as UV resin and you’re itching to try something new. Believe me this type of resin pouring is so so different from UV resin - personally I’m not a lover of UV, this is way more fun and as it’s such a fluid form of resin art, each piece is different to the next and you never know what you what you’ll achieve!
