“So what do you do with your left over wood - burn it??”

This is something I’m asked quite a bit. That and “you must never run out of fire wood”

I try to get the most out of the wood I use as because at the end of the day I have to buy it and wasting it is like throwing money down the drain.

Just like a seamstress trying to place patterns pieces to get the most out of a bolt of fabric, I’m constantly playing jenga trying to get the most out of my pieces of wood.

But at the end of the day I will have pieces left over and these are perfect for small items such as tea lighters and my “fish on a stick”.

And after all of that……I might just have a few pieces of kindling left 😀
