Broken ribs and in the press
Well what can I say, end of March and beginning of April have been a bit of a nightmare! 2 weeks ago I was rushing around at top speed as per norm and was brought crashing to earth (literally) when I fell and landed on my back. A trip for some X-rays resulted in 3 broken ribs.
Now I’ve fallen off more horses over the years, crashed on ski runs and cut myself numerous times when I was a florist but I can honestly say I’ve never had pain like it. To say it was agony to even breathe was an understatement. Needless to say woodworking and resin had to be put on the back burner but what can you do. Hopefully I’ll be back to full speed soon. A huge thank you to my other half who had to organise a few wholesale orders!!
On a far nicer note it was lovely to see my Pebble tea light holders feature in this weeks Irish Examiner. These are made from off cuts of wood from making the serving boards and these wood and resin Ocean inspired candle holders help reduce waste in the workshop.
