Enter May and the start of summer
I’ve never been as glad to see the back of April. It’s a month I can totally write off this year as I waited for my broken ribs to heal! I was a bit too optimistic thinking that they would take only a couple of weeks and I’d be able to work again but as we near the 6 week mark, it’s only now I can get back in the swing of things.
I’ve been busy making lots of smaller wall art pieces as I found last year these were ideal gifts for people as at €95 for a piece of 100% original art, you can’t go wrong. These are inspired by the often stormy seas that surround our fair isle.
This Summer I’ll be stepping back from craft fairs as I’m hoping to be doing the National Ploughing Show in September as it’s back in Tullamore and as it’s a 3 day show and I’ll need lots of stock. I also want to get planning my Christmas Campaign (I know, I do it earlier each year and I still am in a mad dash come Autumn)
I will however have some cheese & charcuterie boards at Ballymaloe Food festival this May so if your around look out for some new pieces on show. Xx
